Context

Founded in 2010, the Atlanta Music Project runs free orchestral and music education for youth in under-resourced Westside Atlanta communities. Their own framing: world-class music training, extraordinary performance opportunities, and college and career preparation. It's a 501(c)(3) with youth orchestras and choirs that run auditions each season, and a real student pipeline through the ensembles.

The video angle is the performance itself. AMP is program-dense and story-rich, but the work happens in rehearsal rooms and on stage where a fundraising page can describe it and still not show it. A kid mid-concert, an ensemble holding a chord, a first-year student next to a senior — that's the asset video captures and a donor letter can't. This is exactly the nonprofit where video is how the money gets raised, so the free reel is a natural, credible opener rather than a sales pitch.

The offer: A free 60–90 second piece from a rehearsal, a performance, or one of their youth orchestras/choirs of their choosing. No strings on the first piece, they own the footage.

What I don't have: A verified direct email. The site (atlantamusicproject.org) 403s bots, so I couldn't pull the contact page. Leadership is confirmed through third-party directories (RocketReach, ZoomInfo, ContactOut), not the org's own site — Dantes Rameau (Co-Founder/CEO) and Aisha Moody (Co-Founder/Chief Program Officer). Rameau's direct email was not verified, so treat the greeting as confident-but-unconfirmed and the address as needing confirmation before send.

Subject: Free 60–90 second reel for AMP's ensembles

Dantes —

Free orchestral training for Westside kids since 2010 is a story that usually only lives on a parent's phone. The work at AMP happens in rehearsal rooms and on stage, where a fundraising page can describe it but can't show it.

I make short documentary reels for mission-driven orgs in Atlanta — Ghost Coast Video. I'd like to offer the Atlanta Music Project a free 60–90 second piece from a rehearsal, a performance, or one of your youth orchestras or choirs. No strings. The footage is yours, use it wherever helps most.

If that'd be useful for the next fundraising season, reply and we'll work out the logistics.

Dantes — AMP's been giving Westside kids free orchestral training since 2010, and most of it only lives on a parent's phone. I make short reels for mission orgs in Atlanta. Free 60–90 sec piece from a rehearsal or ensemble, you own it. Worth a reply?

Before sending

1. Confirm the email address. I could not verify a direct inbox for Dantes Rameau — the site 403s bots and third-party directories don't publish it cleanly. Route through the site contact form (atlantamusicproject.org/contact/) or LinkedIn first, and only send the email once the address is real. Do not guess an address pattern.

2. Re-confirm leadership for 2026. Rameau (CEO) and Aisha Moody (CPO) are the public names from directory listings that can lag. Before addressing Rameau by name, a quick check that he's still CEO this year is worth it; if not, address the CPO or go generic to the org.

3. Word count: ~112 words email body. Good. DM ~240 chars. Good.

4. Tone check. Mission-aligned free-reel gift, not a vendor pitch. Facts verified this session: 2010 founding, free orchestral/music education for Westside youth, youth orchestras + choirs, "world-class music training / performance opportunities / college & career prep" framing, active IG (@atlmusicproject, auditions open for the 2026–2027 season). No fabricated metrics, no invented student or testimonial, no AI attribution.

5. Kept distinct from the other undrafted D row. D13 (For the Culture ATL) is a Black-creatives arts collective, a different angle — this message is not batched with it. Also distinct from Wren's Nest (youth storytelling in a historic house) and Charis (feminist bookstore): the hook here is the ensemble/performance model and the fundraising-video gap specific to a music nonprofit.
