Bankhead Seafood — Follow-Up Sequence
Target: Bankhead Seafood — 1651 Donald Lee Hollowell Pkwy NW, Atlanta GA 30318 (Bankhead / Grove Park)
Contact: No named contact in the row. Greeting stays general ("y'all" / "for the Bankhead Seafood team").
Channel: Instagram DM @bankheadseafood (primary — no published email). Facebook message facebook.com/BankheadSeafoodATL (alternate). Phone (404) 254-1047 (alternate, call script).
Source first-touch: registry/leads/drafts/bankhead-seafood-outreach.md
Source row: targets.md G9 (Web-sourced candidates 2026-09-19)
Generated: 2026-09-20 (night-shift)
Assumes: no reply to the first touch (the free short-piece offer: one piece, they pick the story, no strings, they own the footage)
Register: community-owned neighborhood seafood restaurant whose identity is a legacy-and-comeback story. Neighborhood and regulars storytelling, legacy and community-ownership content, and the room during service. Not a nonprofit donor/funder register, not a hard sales push.
Flags — read before sending
1. Channel is Instagram DM @bankheadseafood. There is no published email — do not invent one. Facebook message facebook.com/BankheadSeafoodATL and the phone (404) 254-1047 are labeled alternates. Pick one channel per touch; never triple-send the same touch across IG, FB, and the phone.
2. No named contact. The first touch had no named staff member, so the greeting stays general — "y'all" or "for the Bankhead Seafood team." Do not guess a person's name.
3. Do not imply Bankhead Seafood is a client. It is a cold prospect. The only orgs named as real prior work in this sequence are GCV's own event-documentation work (the Astronomia speaker series, held soft) and mission-driven storytelling work (Detroit Action, held soft). Neither is framed as a results claim or a client relationship.
4. Only the published facts. Community-owned, revived 2023, Mrs. Helen Harden's 50-year legacy, the corner of Bankhead and Westlake, the address, and the channels — all from the first-touch draft and the G9 row. Do not invent menu items, prices, staff names, ownership-entity names, event dates, review counts, awards, quotes, or a phone/email that isn't listed.
5. The free first piece is already on the table from the first touch. These touches do not re-offer it as the lead; each one adds a new angle.
6. These are DMs, not emails. Keep each touch short. Appendix A's full text is too long for a single DM — send it condensed, or as a link or Google Doc.
7. Stop the moment they reply. This is a conversation, not a drip. Any response restarts as a real thread and the remaining touches get dropped.
Cadence
| Touch | Timing | Channel | What it delivers |
|-------|--------|---------|------------------|
| 1 | D+5 after first touch | IG DM | The corner and the room during service: doors at open, the fryer going, the people who own the place working the floor |
| 2 | D+12 | IG DM | Free asset: "one Friday-night service into a 60-second neighborhood piece" shot list (Appendix A) |
| 3 | D+20 | IG DM | The legacy-and-regulars angle: Mrs. Harden's 50 years carried by the people and regulars who kept the corner alive |
| 4 | D+28 | IG DM | Q4 fall-to-holiday hook: gift cards, out-of-town family, and the "community-owned" heritage a warm reel can actually show |
| 5 | D+36 | IG DM | Door-open close, no ask |
Touch 1 — The corner and the room during service (D+5)
Channel: Instagram DM @bankheadseafood
Still thinking about Bankhead and Westlake.
>
A page can write "community-owned, revived 2023." It can't show the room on a Friday night — doors at open, the fryer going, the people who own the place working the floor.
>
That's the shot I'd point a camera at first. If there's one service you'd want on camera, I'll come shoot it and you keep the cut.
~70 words. Leads with the room during service, not a re-offer of the free piece. The concrete imagery (doors at open, the fryer, the people who own the place working the floor) is the one thing a static page can never carry. The "you keep the cut" thread carries the first touch's "they own the footage" forward.
Alternate channel (Facebook message): same message to facebook.com/BankheadSeafoodATL, signed "— Brandyn / ghostcoast.video". Phone fallback: use the first-touch call script's opener, then fold in "the room on a Friday night, doors at open, the fryer going," keeping it to a minute.
Touch 2 — Free asset (D+12)
Channel: Instagram DM @bankheadseafood
Put together a short guide for y'all: how to turn one Friday-night service into a 60-second neighborhood piece on the phone already in somebody's pocket. Written so you could hand it to whoever's working the floor.
>
It's below, no strings. If the shot list reads like something you'd rather hand off than shoot yourselves, that's the part I do.
~65 words. Delivers Appendix A without asking for anything. Appendix A is self-contained and mentions nothing GCV needs.
Alternate channel (Facebook message): same text to facebook.com/BankheadSeafoodATL. Note: Appendix A is longer than a single DM — send the condensed five-shot version in the DM and offer the full ten-shot list as a follow-up message or Google Doc.
Touch 3 — The legacy-and-regulars angle (D+20)
Channel: Instagram DM @bankheadseafood
The story that never makes it onto a menu is the legacy. Mrs. Harden's 50 years, and the regulars who remember the old Bankhead sitting at the same table today.
>
I've shot rooms and the people in them before, a speaker series and some mission-driven storytelling work. A regular on camera carries a legacy in a way a paragraph can't.
>
If there's one regular who'd sit for it, that's a short piece that writes itself.
~80 words. The legacy-and-regulars angle, aimed at the community-ownership identity rather than a sales push. GCV's real work is held soft ("a speaker series," "some mission-driven storytelling work") and never named or framed as a client relationship.
Alternate channel (Facebook message): same message to facebook.com/BankheadSeafoodATL. Phone fallback: not recommended for this touch — the regular's-story ask lands better in writing where it can be shared internally.
Touch 4 — Q4 fall-to-holiday + the community-owned heritage (D+28)
Channel: Instagram DM @bankheadseafood
Fall runs into the holidays fast, and that's when a neighborhood room does a lot of its year — gift cards, out-of-town family, the regulars' annual table.
>
There's a heritage angle too. "Community-owned" is a phrase until somebody shows the people who own the place carrying Mrs. Harden's legacy forward. A warm reel of the room this season does that work all winter.
>
If the calendar's already mapped out, no pressure.
~75 words. Ties to the real Q4 fall-to-holiday neighborhood-dining and gift-card season without naming a specific date. The community-ownership / small-business / heritage angle is the distinct lead here, and it is what makes the reel shareable for regulars and social.
Alternate channel (Facebook message): same message to facebook.com/BankheadSeafoodATL. Phone fallback: condense to "the holidays are when a neighborhood room does its year — I could come shoot a warm reel of the room this season, you keep it," under 30 seconds on the line.
Touch 5 — Door-open close (D+36)
Channel: Instagram DM @bankheadseafood
I've sent a few notes and won't keep them coming if the timing's off. Running a room keeps you busy enough.
>
The offer stands. If Bankhead Seafood ever wants the corner, the room, or the regulars on camera, I'm around.
~45 words. No ask, no recap, no guilt. Ends warm and leaves the standing offer intact.
Alternate channel (Facebook message): same message to facebook.com/BankheadSeafoodATL. Phone fallback: skip unless Brandyn wants a single final voicemail.
Appendix A — One Friday-night service into a 60-second neighborhood piece
The deliverable for Touch 2. Self-contained; paste into a DM (condensed), an email, or a Google Doc. Written for whoever's working the floor, phone in hand.
What this is. A working way to turn one real Friday-night service into a 60-second neighborhood piece people actually watch. No production budget. Whoever's on the floor that night shoots ten shots on a phone; you cut them together on the ride home.
The ten shots, in order.
1. The sign at Bankhead and Westlake, before open or after close.
2. The doors at open, the first table seated.
3. The fryer or the pass during service, plates going out.
4. A plate in the window, close, one dish.
5. A hand at the register, or the counter.
6. A table laughing, two people, not the whole room.
7. One regular, if they'll be on camera, one line is enough.
8. The people who own the place, on the floor, mid-shift.
9. The room full, one wide shot from the back.
10. The sign again as you leave, lights on.
Cutting it. Hold each shot two or three seconds. Drop the sound and lay one track under it. Sixty seconds is ten shots, one track, done. Don't caption every frame; let one shot do the work.
Why it works. A menu photo can't make someone feel the room on a Friday. A full room, a firing fryer, the people who own the place working the floor can. The person who watches it doesn't get the tagline, they get the place. And the piece quietly does the asking for the next table.
Notes for Brandyn
- Strongest touch if only one goes out: Touch 1 (the corner and the room during service). It's the first touch's thesis aimed at the one thing a static page can never show, and it names a real, recurring shot (a Friday-night service) rather than a generic "full room" line.
- Appendix A is ready to deploy as a Google Doc or a plain message for Touch 2. The shot list is Bankhead-specific (the sign at Bankhead and Westlake, the people who own the place on the floor) rather than a generic restaurant checklist, and it is distinct from the Poor Hendrix "one dinner service" list and the Historic Westside Gardens donor guide.
- Astronomia and Detroit Action stay soft. They are held at "a speaker series" and "some mission-driven storytelling work" in Touch 3, never named in the DM body, never framed as a result claim.
- No published email exists. The whole sequence is IG-DM-first, with Facebook and the phone as clearly labeled alternates. Do not add an email anywhere.
- Cadence is generous because a community-owned neighborhood restaurant is seasonal. Starting late September puts Touch 4 in mid-to-late October, ahead of the Q4 holiday/gift-card lock-in.
- Downstream asks stay held until a real conversation: a recurring "room in motion" series, a legacy piece with a long-time regular, seasonal coverage. None of these appear as asks in this sequence.
- No fabricated clients, metrics, menu items, prices, staff, entity names, dates, awards, or quotes anywhere. Only Bankhead Seafood's own published facts are named: community-owned, revived 2023, Mrs. Helen Harden's 50-year legacy, the corner of Bankhead and Westlake, the address, and the channels.
