Context
Banshee runs as a late-night creative hub, not just a bar with a food menu. The regular artist, musician, and DJ pop-up collaborations are the actual product — what makes the room distinct from every other gastropub in EAV. That format generates real event energy and almost none of it gets documented in any usable form.
A 60–90 second reel from one of their pop-up nights — the room, the DJ or artist, the late-night crowd — is the kind of content that's hard to produce in-house and that short-form actually rewards. It shows the venue doing what it does, not posing for what it does.
The offer: Free 60–90 second reel from an upcoming pop-up or event night. They own the footage, use it for their own channels. Door-opener for paid event documentation if that's ever on their radar.
What I don't have: A named contact. DM goes to @banshee_eav. If they reply, ask who handles social/media for a name to follow up with.

Hey — Ghost Coast Video, Atlanta-based video work for venues and events.
The pop-up format you're running at Banshee is worth getting on camera. A local artist, a DJ night, whatever's on the calendar — that kind of thing doesn't have a natural documentation pipeline, and the room energy from a good pop-up is exactly the content that performs on short-form.
I'd like to offer a free 60–90 second reel from one of your upcoming events. You own the footage, use it for your channels. Good entry point if better social content for the creative nights is something you've been thinking about.
Worth a message back?

Before sending
1. Check @banshee_eav recent posts. If they've just announced a specific artist pop-up, DJ residency, or upcoming event night, open with that directly instead of the general "pop-up format" line. A specific upcoming event beats the general framing every time.
2. No named contact needed for a cold DM. Account opener is fine. If they reply, ask who handles media/social.
3. Don't reference The EARL, 529, or Aisle 5 as GCV clients. They're all cold prospects from the same batch. Don't fabricate those relationships.
4. If they ask about past work: Astronomia (live event and performance documentation, Albuquerque) is the closest match. Detroit Action is the nonprofit documentary case study. Neither goes in the cold DM.
5. Word count: 93 words in the DM body. Under the cap.
6. Twitter alternative: @banshee_eav also exists on Twitter. If IG DM gets no reply in 7–10 days, Twitter DM is a reasonable second touch — same message, same structure.
