Context

Kimball House runs two programs — a cocktail bar and a raw bar — out of a restored 1890s rail depot in Decatur, and it's Michelin-recognized. The room does the storytelling: a preserved train depot holding a modern oyster and cocktail operation. Southern Living put it in one line when they wrote the place up, that it balances preservation and progress. That's the filmable idea, and it's a photo problem — a still can't show a preserved room and a running service at once.

The 60–90 second reel catches the raw bar mid-service, oysters getting shucked and drinks getting built, with the depot bones of the room behind it. The team culture is the quiet engine (their own words: seasons, farms, and the people preparing the food), so the reel should show hands and faces, not just plates.

The offer: Free 60–90 second reel. They own the footage, post it wherever. No pitch on the first touch.

What I don't have: A named contact in targets.md. The site lists info@kimball-house.com as the general box, resy@kimball-house.com for reservations, and routes media inquiries to a PR agency (anna@sprouthouseagency.com). The oyster-catering link on the site uses bryan@kimball-house.com — worth flagging as a possible person to address directly once Brandyn confirms who Bryan is.

Subject: A 60-second reel of the depot room

Kimball House team —

You're running a cocktail bar and raw bar out of a restored 1890s rail depot, and Southern Living summed it up: the place balances preservation and progress. A photo can't hold both halves at once. Film can. I want to catch the raw bar mid-service, oysters getting shucked and drinks getting built, with the depot bones of the room behind it.

I run Ghost Coast Video out of Atlanta, video for venues and spaces.

Free 60–90 second reel. You own the footage. No strings on the first piece.

Worth a reply?

Before sending

1. Named contact. The site's oyster-catering link points to bryan@kimball-house.com. If Brandyn can confirm who Bryan is (name + role), swap the "Kimball House team" opener for a direct address. Otherwise the generic opener is fine for a cold first touch.

2. Media routing. The site sends media inquiries to a PR agency (anna@sprouthouseagency.com). Keep this framed as a free-reel offer to the venue, not a press pitch, or it may get redirected.

3. Current peg beats evergreen framing. If they've just posted about a seasonal oyster, a new cocktail menu, or a Michelin update, swap that in for the Southern Living line. Specific always lands better.

4. Decatur notes. Leon's Full Service (C13) and Twain's Brewpub & Billiards (C14) are the other Decatur entries. Keep the three distinct — not a batch send to Decatur. Leon's hook is the 1920s gas-station architecture; Twain's is house-brewed beer plus billiards; this hook is the oyster/raw-bar and cocktail program inside the depot room, on the "preservation and progress" line. Don't cross the copy.

5. No fabricated relationships. Astronomia (Albuquerque — live event and space documentation) is the closest documented GCV case study. Doesn't belong in a cold email to a cocktail bar.

6. No fabricated metrics or Michelin specifics. "Michelin-recognized" is in targets.md but I did not cite a specific award or star level — leave it out rather than guess.

7. Word count: ~91 words in the email body. Under the 120-word cap.

8. Social handle (if Brandyn adds a DM variant): Instagram is @kimballhouse and Twitter is @kimballhousebar, both confirmed in the site footer.
