Leon's Full Service — Cold Outreach

Target: Leon's Full Service (Decatur, GA — gastropub in a renovated 1920s gas station)

Tier: C — community / long-game

Channel: Instagram DM (@leonsfullservice) — primary

Context

Leon's is a Decatur institution in a building that does most of the storytelling work for them — a 1920s gas station that became a scratch kitchen with a real local sourcing commitment. The original structure is still visible in how the space sits: whatever they preserved from that building is part of what makes the room distinct from every other gastropub in town.

That kind of environment is easy to describe and hard to photograph. A 60–90 second reel that shows the space while the kitchen is actually running — not staged, not posed — gives the restaurant something static posts can't: the feeling of being inside a working operation that has a real story underneath it.

The offer is a free reel. They own the footage, post it wherever they want. Good first step if they've been thinking about better short-form content for their channels.

What I don't have: A named contact. DM goes to @leonsfullservice. If they reply, ask who handles social or media for the follow-up name.

Hey — Ghost Coast Video, Atlanta-based video work for venues and spaces.

The 1920s gas station structure at Leon's is still part of how that space works — you can see it in how the room sits. That context disappears in a photo of a plate. What I want to put on camera is the space while it's running: the kitchen, the operation, the original architecture doing its thing in the background.

Free 60–90 second reel. You own the footage. No strings.

Worth a reply?

Before sending

1. Check @leonsfullservice recent posts. If they've just posted about a specific seasonal menu, a farm they source from, or a renovation detail, open with that reference instead of the general gas station line. More specific always beats general.

2. Named contact. Cold DM to the account is fine as a first touch. If they reply, ask who handles media/social for a person to follow up with.

3. Don't reference other C-tier leads as GCV clients. Banshee, The Pub @ EAV, The EARL, 529, etc. are all cold prospects from the same batch. No fabricated relationships.

4. If they ask about past work: Astronomia (Albuquerque — live event and space documentation) is the closest case study for venue work. Detroit Action is the nonprofit documentary case study. Neither goes in the cold DM.

5. Word count: 80 words in the DM body. Under the cap.

6. Decatur notes: Kimball House (C15) and Twain's Brewpub (C14) are the other Decatur entries in targets.md. Keep the messages distinct — not a batch send to Decatur.
