Context
The Municipal Market in Sweet Auburn — locals call it the Curb Market — is Atlanta's only public market. It started as an open-air market in 1918, then moved into a fireproof brick building (designed by A. Ten Eyck Brown) that opened May 1, 1924. It houses thirty local businesses under one roof — produce, butchers, seafood, retail, sweets, and some of the city's most popular eateries — and it takes EBT. Open Monday through Saturday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
It's also a small business incubator, and that's the part a directory page can't carry. Grindhouse Killer Burgers, Bell Street Burritos, Sweet Auburn Barbecue, and Arepa Mia all got their start under this roof before becoming Atlanta institutions. The current lineup is just as human — a butcher at the counter, seafood on ice, Miss D's Pralines, Curly's Fried Chicken, Auntie Vee's Kitchen — and every stall is a small business run by an actual person.
The offer: A free 60–90 second piece, their call on what to capture — a stall, a vendor, the market on a Saturday morning. They own the footage, no strings on the first piece.
What I don't have: A named person. The site publishes admin@municipalmarketatl.com on three pages (Become a Merchant, Event Application, Event Spaces) but no general manager, market manager, or marketing/events contact by name. The market self-describes as "a self-sustaining entity"; I did not verify a City of Atlanta ownership claim or a merchant-association contact, so neither goes in the copy.

Subject: A free 60–90 second reel for the Curb Market
Hey —
The site can tell people the Sweet Auburn Curb Market's been running since 1918 and this building went up in 1924. It can list thirty businesses under one roof and note that EBT's accepted. What it can't show is the stalls themselves: a butcher at the counter, seafood on ice, pralines coming out of the kitchen, the line at the fried chicken. Grindhouse and Arepa Mia both started under this roof.
I shoot short documentary reels in Atlanta, Ghost Coast Video. I'd like to shoot a free 60–90 second piece, your call on what to capture — a stall, a vendor, the market on a Saturday morning. You own the footage, no strings on the first one.
Worth a reply?

Hey — Ghost Coast Video, I shoot short documentary reels in Atlanta.

Before sending
1. Email goes to admin@municipalmarketatl.com — the only published inbox, used for vendor leasing, event applications, and space rentals. There is no named decision-maker on the site (no GM, market manager, or marketing contact), so the greeting is generic. If Brandyn can pull a name (LinkedIn "Market Manager — Sweet Auburn Curb Market" or a network touch), address them by name — a named opener beats "Hey —".
2. Handles verified this session, all from the site footer: Instagram instagram.com/TheCurbMarket (matches the row's IG @TheCurbMarket), X x.com/thecurbmarket (matches @thecurbmarket), Facebook facebook.com/pages/Municipal-Market/111755400323216, plus Pinterest pinterest.com/thecurbmarket (not in the row). All live as of 2026-09-13.
3. Zip correction: the site footer gives 209 Edgewood Ave SE, Atlanta, GA 30303. The row has no zip. Sweet Auburn / Edgewood location confirmed.
4. Vendor count: the current homepage says "thirty local businesses." The older "Today" page still says 28 independently-owned businesses — the 30 figure is the current one. Don't cite a more precise count than "thirty."
5. Keep distinct from the other 2026-09-13 drafts. F1–F3 are neighborhood redevelopment/food-access nonprofits; F4 is a fine-art gallery; F5 is a 350-seat cantina/events business. This is a century-old public market of independent stalls — not a modern food hall (Chattahoochee Food Works, which was a game-night hosting ask) and not a corridor nonprofit (Sweet Auburn Works). No reused copy; do not batch-send with F7–F13.
6. No fabricated metrics or relationships. The Curb Market is a cold prospect. Everything above is from their own site this session: 1918 founding, 1924 building (A. Ten Eyck Brown), thirty businesses, EBT accepted, Mon–Sat 8 a.m.–8 p.m., and the incubator line (Grindhouse Killer Burgers, Bell Street Burritos, Sweet Auburn Barbecue, Arepa Mia "got their start at the Curb Market"). The 2013 USA Today "16th Best food market" ranking appears on an older page and is dated — I left it out of the copy rather than lean on a stale accolade. No invented sales figures, foot traffic, or testimonials. No AI attribution.
7. Word counts: ~116 words in the email body, ~74 in the DM. Both under the template caps.

- 2026-09-13: draft written by night-shift worker. Verified the Municipal Market active and real — municipalmarketatl.com live, © 2026 footer, with a 2026 "New Merchants" block (Retro Grill Atlanta, A Taste of Secrets, Dolce Tropical, Edgewood Ave Pizza). Confirmed 209 Edgewood Ave SE, Atlanta GA 30303; founded 1918 / building opened May 1, 1924 (designed by A. Ten Eyck Brown); thirty local businesses; EBT accepted; Mon–Sat 8 a.m.–8 p.m.; Atlanta's only public market; incubator alumni Grindhouse Killer Burgers, Bell Street Burritos, Sweet Auburn Barbecue, Arepa Mia.
