Context

The Lost Druid isn't a taproom that happens to have a kitchen. It's a brewstillery — craft beer, a distillery putting out its own bourbon and gin and rum, and a small-plate kitchen, all under one roof in Avondale Estates. The About line is one sentence and it does the whole job: "An eco-concious and solar-powered brewery, distillery & kitchen" that is "100% woman-owned and family-operated." The building backs it up — open-air atrium seating behind four glass garage bay doors, a heated pet-friendly patio, solar on the roof.

But the part a static page can't carry is the calendar. Every Wednesday there's trivia (Eater-ranked in Atlanta's top 10). Second Tuesday, the Stitch & B\*tch knitting meetup. Second and third Sundays, Max & Friends old-time jam. Live music most Saturdays — Levi Ransom the 12th, The Five Fours the 19th. That's a standing weekly rhythm of the same room filling with the same neighbors, and a beer list can't show any of it. Neither can it show the still, or the woman and family running the place, or the kitchen during service.

The offer: A free 60–90 second piece, their call on what to capture — a trivia night, the jam circle, the still and the taps, the kitchen. They own the footage, no strings on the first piece.

What I have: No named owner or contact — the site states woman-owned and family-operated but never names anyone. Routing goes through info@thelostdruid.com, the only published inbox (the private-event form on the site is down and points to that same address). Every fact above is from thelostdruid.com this session.

Subject: Free 60–90 second reel for The Lost Druid

Hey —

A 100% woman-owned, family-run brewstillery in Avondale Estates, solar on the roof, with a standing week of it: trivia every Wednesday, Stitch & B\*tch, Max & Friends old-time jam, live music Saturdays. The site can list the nights. It can't show them.

It can't show the taproom on a trivia night, or the jam circle, or the beer, the still, and the kitchen all working under one roof.

I shoot short documentary reels in Atlanta, Ghost Coast Video. I'd like to shoot a free 60–90 second piece, your call what to capture. You own the footage, no strings on the first one.

Worth a reply?

Before sending

1. Email goes to info@thelostdruid.com — the only published inbox. The site's private-event section says the online form is broken ("Due to a technical difficulty in our online form, please send us an email at info@thelostdruid.com"), so this is the intended routing. There is no named owner, marketing, events, or taproom contact anywhere on the site, so the greeting is generic. If Brandyn knows the woman owner's name (or any family member / manager), swap "Hey —" for a named greeting — a name beats generic every time.

2. Org verified active this session. thelostdruid.com is live with content stamped "Last updated 2026/09/13" (today) across the beer, seltzer, spirits, cocktail, and food sections, and a footer "© 2019-2026 The Lost Druid LLC." Current taproom hours are published (closed Mon; Tue–Thu 4–9; Fri 4–10; Sat 11:30–10; Sun 11:30–8; kitchen closes 30 min before taproom). The 2866 Washington St, Avondale Estates, GA 30002 address and the 404-998-5679 phone are both confirmed on the Contact section.

3. The hook is the standing community calendar plus the woman-owned/solar brewstillery identity, not a beer list. Every fact in the copy is on the site: "100% woman-owned and family-operated" and "eco-concious and solar-powered brewery, distillery & kitchen" (About Us); trivia every Wednesday "Eater-rated Top 10 Trivia in ATL," Stitch & B\*tch second Tuesday, Max & Friends old-time jam second and third Sundays, and the live-music Saturdays (Upcoming Public Events). The beer, the still, and the kitchen under one roof is the brewstillery distinction the row flagged.

4. Awards — characterize precisely, don't inflate. The site's own badges: "Best of Show Winner 2025 & 2026 (Georgia Craft Brewers Festival)," "Voted Best Brewery/Brewpub 2025 (Decaturish)," "Named Top 3 Brewery in Atlanta 2022 (Access Atlanta)," "Named Atlanta's Best New Brewery 2020 (Atlanta Magazine)." The "America's Best Small Town Beer Scene 2021, 2022, 2023 & 2025 (USA Today)" badge is for Avondale Estates the town, not the brewery itself, so I left it out of the copy rather than risk misattribution. If Brandyn wants an award line in, the brewery's own "Best of Show 2025 & 2026" is the strongest and cleanest.

5. Programming is current, with real dates. The site lists specific upcoming events: Levi Ransom Sept 12, The Five Fours Sept 19, Pine Street Market's Whole Hog Butchering Class Sept 26 (plus a Sept 26 private-event early close). Those are today-forward dates from a page maintained as of 2026/09/13. I referenced the recurring nights rather than one-off dates so the copy doesn't go stale.

6. Handles confirmed from the site, not guessed. The homepage nav and footer link instagram.com/thelostdruid, twitter.com/thelostdruid, and facebook.com/thelostdruid. (Direct IG fetch login-walled and FB returned 400 this session, so the site's own links are the source of truth — they are the canonical handles, not assumptions.) Twitter/X is @thelostdruid, a channel the targets.md F11 row didn't list.

7. No named decision-maker — do not invent one. The site never names the owner or any family member. Editorial rule 3d applies: do not fabricate or infer a name from memory. Leave the greeting generic and let Brandyn supply the name if he has it. This is the same situation as F8 (Arches) and F10 (Food Terminal), where the greeting stayed generic when no name was published.

8. Keep distinct from the other brewery/distillery drafts. DoMA (F9, Chamblee) leads with the distillery-plus-art-gallery hybrid and label art; Monday Night (H4, West End) is a game-night hosting ask; Arches (F8, East Point) leads with the 2024 relocation into the Atlanta Utility Works; Food Terminal (F10) is an immigrant-founder restaurant story. Lost Druid's own story is the woman-owned, family-operated, solar-powered brewstillery in Avondale Estates with a standing weekly community calendar — trivia, knitting meetup, old-time jam, live music. No reused copy; do not batch-send with F12–F13.

9. Word counts: ~110 words email body, ~74 words DM. Both at or under cap.

10. No fabricated metrics or relationships. The Lost Druid is a cold prospect, not a client. Every fact is from thelostdruid.com this session — the woman-owned/family-operated and solar claims, the brewstillery concept, the address and phone, the recurring programming, the award badges. No invented sales figures, attendance, testimonials, or owner names. No AI attribution.
