Context

Trackside Tavern is Decatur's dive bar, open since 1982. In the early morning of January 20, 2009 it burned to the ground, and the owners rebuilt it, reopening about two years later with the original character kept intact — down to the name-scratched wood benches. WABE profiled it in 2023 as a "community mainstay" in their "Cheers!" series on Atlanta-area watering holes that have survived for decades.

Their own Instagram bio says it plainly: "Dive bar open since 1982!! Only late night bar in Decatur. Pool tables, air hockey, darts, and video games." Facebook puts the door policy the same way: "21 and up all day, every day. No exceptions."

The video angle is the late-night room. Trackside is the only bar in Decatur still open at 1am, and that's the thing a phone camera never catches: the place filling back up after everything else closes, the pool tables and darts under the neon, the regulars who came back after the fire. It's a neighborhood institution with a real survival story, and none of it lives on a feed.

1. Neighborhood correction — targets.md D10 said "Cabbagetown." That's wrong. Trackside Tavern is in Decatur, at 313 E College Ave, GA 30030. I corrected the row this session (Cabbagetown → Decatur) and rewrote the fit reason. Brandyn should sanity-check that D10 was meant to be Trackside at all — if the batch actually intended a different Cabbagetown bar, this whole draft targets the wrong business.

2. Confirm the Instagram handle before DMing. WABE links @tracksidetavern (the authoritative one). But a second account @trackside_tavern ("The DMV of alcohol") also exists. Two live handles — one is likely a dead/duplicate. Open both, check which posts recently, and DM the active one.

3. Owners named in 2023 may not be current. Mikey Brennan and Brian Colantuno were the co-owners when WABE profiled the bar (Aug 2023). Don't address either by name unless Brandyn confirms they're still running it. The cold DM is fine generic.

4. Do not cite any website. tracksidetavern.com is parked/for sale at DomainMarket. thetracksidetavern.com and the .weeblyte / .site pages are SEO-scraped spam, not the bar's real site. IG, Facebook, and phone are the real channels.

5. "Only late night bar in Decatur" is their own Instagram line. Real and safe to reference, but it's their claim — if their IG bio changes, drop it.

6. Word counts: ~95 words in the DM body, ~48 words in the Facebook variant. Both under cap.

7. Don't reference Little's (D9), 97 Estoria (E6), or any other lead as a GCV client. All cold prospects from the same batches. No fabricated relationships, no AI attribution.
