Turtle Island Trading Company — outreach draft

Contact: Carmen H. — email TBD

Context: L5P (Little Five Points) store Brandyn loves. Part of the L5P Interview Series campaign.

Wedge: Lead with the interview as a gift, not an ask. The feature builds Brandyn's credible-voice library; the relationship opens sponsorship / shooting-date / referral downstream.

Channel: EMAIL (need Carmen's address)

Subject: Want to feature Turtle Island — no catch

Hi Carmen,

>

Brandyn here — I'm a Little Five Points neighbor and a genuine fan of Turtle Island. I run a video studio (Ghost Coast Video) and I've been wanting to put more of my work into the businesses that make L5P what it is.

>

Simple offer: I'd love to come film a short interview/feature with you at the shop — your story, what you carry, why L5P. No cost, no catch. You get a polished 60–90 second reel to post however you like. I just love the place and want to point a camera at it.

>

If it lands well, there's plenty we could dream up after — but step one is just a good conversation on camera.

>

Could I stop by this week to say hi in person and find a time?

Channel: IN-PERSON (since it's walkable — strong option)

Just walk in. Buy something. Ask for Carmen. Say the email out loud:

"Hey Carmen — I'm Brandyn, I live in the neighborhood and love this store. I shoot video for a living and I'd love to film a little feature on you guys, totally free, just because I think L5P deserves it. Could I come back with a camera sometime this week?"

Bring a business card or your IG handle. Don't pitch anything beyond the interview on the first contact.

Downstream asks (after the interview lands — don't lead with these)
